Also it is the 100th Anniversary of SLAM Magazine! The mag (using the vernacular of the periodical) is best known in the Kentucky world for outing the UK Media Relations’ teams calling Patrick Sparks a “turd”. However it also should be remembered that it is the second best selling magazine in basketball. Slam Magazine now has a compilation of its 100 covers on their website. Check it out and notice the bad decisions made by the magazine (aka an odd shot of John Starks crotch while dunking).
