Arkansas star guard Isaiah Joe returning for junior season

One of the top shooters in the SEC is returning to school for his junior season.
Arkansas star guard Isaiah Joe announced this afternoon he would be withdrawing from the NBA Draft and returning for another season in Fayetteville.
"As most of you may know, I entered my name into the 2020 NBA Draft back in April," he said. "The whole draft process has been an incredible experience, and I am honored to be in the position that I am currently in today.
"I have not signed with an agent, so I am blessed to have the option to come back to school if I were to choose so.
"I know a lot of people have been waiting to hear my decision, but this has definitely been one not to be rushed. After all things considered, I have decided to play my next season at the University of Arkansas and continue my dream as a Hog.
"I appreciate everyone who has been inn my corner and supported me throughout my career and during this quarantine. With that being said, there is still a lot to be accomplished and I believe that it all starts here as an Arkansas Razorback!"

“We are so excited to have Isaiah back," Arkansas head coach Eric Musselman said in a release. "We know how hard of a decision this was for Isaiah and his family. Zai’s goal is to have a long NBA career and we can’t wait to continue helping him reach his dream.”
In two seasons as a Razorback, the 6-foot-2 guard has averaged 15.2 points per game and shot 37.8 percent from beyond the arc. As a freshman, Joe set the program’s single-season record for made 3-pointers with 113 on 41.4 percent from three. He was also named to the SEC All-Freshman Team in his first year at Arkansas.
As a sophomore, Joe averaged 16.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per contest, including 94 made threes on the year. After missing six games due to a knee injury, Joe returned to average 20 points per game and 35 percent from three to close out the season.
Now, the No. 3 player in terms of 3-pointers made per game among active NCAA Division I players is back for one more year.
