Auburn Keeps It Close
Well, that was pretty standard for conference play, wasn't it? Kentucky faced-off against one of the worst teams in the SEC and the results were not predictable. Auburn showed some real grit, but in the end, the Tigers didn't quite have the height or the horses to keep up with the Cats. The Wildcats eventually remembered who they were scraped together a 72-67 win. Late game heroics from DeMarcus Cousins, John Wall, and most importantly, DeAndre Liggins made the difference in the contest. The Cats did just enough to win and hopefully learned a valuable lesson in the process.
