MacGinnis is featured in a new story on TheRams.com -- the exact domain Ryan Lemond would send you to if you asked him for information about the Rams -- and in it, MacGinnis' new fan base learns the long road he took to get another opportunity in the league. (You reading this now, you're probably a Kentucky fan so you know all about MacGinnis waiting for his turn. It took way too long.) Also in the story, we get direct quotes from MacGinnis via a video conference interview he did earlier this month. Here's one of the good quotes before we get to the great quote:
"Every combine I went to, I competed against guys who were in the NFL and had done well against them, so I knew it was a matter of time."
The story concludes with this Hall of Fame number:
"I look forward to this next journey, competing against those guys," MacGinnis said. "Just really focusing on myself, because I know if I'm the best me, then that's going to be the best for the Rams."
Spoken like a 10-year NFL vet, but from a young man excited to show what he can do. MacGinnis still has a job to win before the season begins, but he's off to a great start in talking season.
