Barker close to 70 percent accuracy in live drills

With the news of two departures after yesterday's practice, we were due for some good news today.
Offensive coordinator Eddie Gran did not offer any breaking news after the first day in full pads, but he did share a positive little tidbit from the quarterback position.
Gran said Drew Barker is completing 68 to 70 percent of his passes in live drills. Keep in mind, he is doing that against a very long and talented secondary, Stoops' best since he's been at Kentucky.
The word around Barker has been very positive in the early beginning of fall camp as he has done all that has been asked of him. He was impressive in Saturday's open scrimmage and has maintained that strong play behind closed doors; all while learning throughout the installation of a new system.
