BBNBA: Immanuel Quickley scores 21 in first game back from injury
Immanuel Quickley made his Ali-like return to the ring on Saturday after missing the last eight games with a pelvis injury. IQ suffered the injury in the first game of the season and has been sidelined ever since, but was able to practice on Friday and made the start against the LA Clippers. It is safe to say he’s healthy.
Quickley scored 21 points, dished out four assists, and grabbed three rebounds in his return, but the Raptors fell to the Clippers 103-105.
Toronto is now just 2-8 on the year, but the good news is that they have Immanuel Quickley back and the Eastern Conference looks to be awful. 11 of the top 14 records in the NBA are in the West, so IQ and company will have an opportunity to climb the standings.

Keldon Johnson and Johnny Juzang score double figures in close game
It was a light slate in the NBA on Saturday with only three games across the league. One of them featured a battle between two Kentucky legends, Keldon Johnson and Johnny Juzang. Ok, ‘legend’ might be a strong word but I don’t have a lot to work with. Anyway, both former Cats scored double figures, with Johnson posting 14 and Juzang hanging a 10-piece. It was a nailbiter of a game, but the San Antonio Spurs ultimately defeated the Utah Jazz 111-10.
