screen-shot-2016-10-12-at-9-22-41-am Some unfortunate news from the NBA: Anthony Davis sprained his ankle during this morning's Pelicans/Exhibition game in China. Davis slipped during a post move and turned his right ankle: After trying briefly to re-enter the game, Davis was taken to the locker room and did not return. He finished with 2 points (1-5) in 7 minutes as the Pelicans fell to the Rockets 116-104. Davis has been plagued with injuries throughout his career, so hopefully this one isn't too serious. Meanwhile, former Cat turned Gonzaga Bulldog Kyle Wiltjer chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds for the Rockets off 6-13 from the field, including 3-7 from behind the three-point line: Three other Cats played yesterday. Here's a roundup of their performances...
  • Andrew Harrison, Memphis Grizzlies: 3 points (1-2), 1 rebound, 3 assists, 12 minutes
  • Enes Kanter, Oklahoma City Thunder: 11 points (5-9), 13 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 assist, 22 minutes
  • Julius Randle, Los Angeles Lakers: 13 points (4-6), 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 35 minutes
Some of Randle's highlights, starting with a between the legs pass to Nick Young: https://vine.co/v/5X1VQMDZ65m And this huge slam: And taking the ball the length of the court for an and-one: Today's games:

  • 8:00 PM: Nuggets (Jamal Murray) vs. Timberwolves (Karl Towns)
