Beatdown! Cats crush Alabama 72-58

terrence-jones-sec-tournament If there were any questions about whether or not they could play a physical team for the second day in a row, they were answered emphatically as Kentucky pasted the SEC's #2 team, 72-58.  The Cats got another huge performance from Doron Lamb and Josh Harrellson and Brandon Knight turned it on in the second half and torched the Tide for 10 straight points.  Of the Cats' top six, only Terrence Jones failed to hit double digits in points.  But, if there's going to be a hot postgame topic, it's Calipari's decision to not bring substitutions in for his starters late in the blowout, which led to DeAndre Liggins and Doron Lamb both leaving the game with injuries in the final minute and a half.  It was an outstandingly complete performance, but there are going to be some angry people about what transpired at the end.
