#BeatMizzou Saturday Morning Links

Good Morning, BBN! We are only a couple of hours away from Kentucky vs. Missouri -- a battle of teams without conference wins. A bowl game isn't possible anymore for the Wildcats, but if this team hopes to finish the season strong it starts against the Tigers. While you wait to cheer on the Cayts, here are some early morning links to hold you over. ******************************** -If you didn't catch Anthony Davis' monster 24 point, 11 rebound game against the defending champion Miami Heat, you can read all about it on the New Orleans Hornets fan blog, At the Hive. The article says performances like Davis' last night has this city as excited for the NBA season as it has ever been. -CoachCal.com did a great "Where are they now?" piece on Kentucky Wildcat legend, Wah Wah Jones. Jones is the first Kentucky Wildcat to ever win a Gold medal in the Olympics and is considered to be the greatest athlete to ever put on the blue and white. Check out "Wah Wah is still a Gold Standard for Wildcats." -With so many injuries in the Chicago Bulls backcourt, Marquis Teague could see his minutes increase tremendously heading into the regular season. With Derrick Rose already out, and (Captain) Kirk Hinrich sidelined with a groin injury, Teague and Nate Robinson are the only healthy point guards on the team. The Bulls believe he is ready to contribute and are going to have to rely on him early in his career. -Mark Story provides some keys to victory for the Wildcats against Mizzou. If Kentucky is going to come out of this on top, a lot of things have to go right, especially the things listed by Story.
