At 12 noon, my favorite sports weekend of the year begins.  There is nothing better than the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament.  You can have your Super Bowl with its excessive hype, lame half-time shows and disappointing action.  Take your World Series with its never-ending baseball.  Take your college football championship with its BCS ridiculousness and no chance that Kentucky will ever compete in it.  And enjoy the NBA Playoffs for the 3 months that it goes on.  For me, give me the NCAA Tournament and especially the first four days.

There will be upsets this weekend and the potential is there for the first ever 16 over a 1 seed.  (Oral Roberts v Memphis).  There will be buzzer beaters, lots of crying (and not just from Roy Williams) and snapshots that will make "One Shining Moment" proud.  Beginning at 12, everything in the world is right for 4 days, and I cant wait.  Well at least until Kentucky loses...
