Big Blue Madness: Nashville edition

  On Friday night in Lexington, 24,000 fortunate UK fans gathered in Rupp Arena to celebrate the beginning of the college basketball season for our 2012 National Champions. By now you've seen all the pictures and all the videos from that event time and time again.   What you haven't seen evidence of was the Madness happening in enemy territory. In Nashville, around 50 or 60 of those not fortunate enough to make it to Rupp congregated in The Green Room at Tin Roof Nashville to ring in the new year on the hardwood in the heart of Vandy country.  Myself and Tyler Thompson were in attendance and I took some photos and enjoyed getting to know some of those in attendance.   As is to be expected with UK basketball fans, the crowd was very focused on the action on the TV.  The biggest reactions were for any dance that happened, be it Matthew Mitchell or the players. Thanks to Tin Roof and especially Erin Creighton for hosting the party. I hope to see everyone who was there again for UK games in the future.
