Bill Murray is an American icon. I would submit that there isn't an actor with a better comedic resume than Mr. Murray. Seriously he has been in so many classics it would be nearly impossible to top. Caddyshack. Ghostbusters. Groundhog Day. At least one of those three would make just about anyone's top ten list of comedies. Not to mention all the movies he has cameo-ed  in with great success like Space Jam and Zombieland. Then there is his more recent work in the films of Wes Anderson and an Oscar nomination for Lost in Translation. The man has an astounding resume. So Happy Birthday to Bill Murray. The comedy legend turned 62 today and during those years he has provided countless laughs for people all over the world. Bill Murray tonight's news and views are dedicated to you. Without further ado:   -Another year under Calipari another broken record. Once again this year's Big Blue Madness campout broke the record for most tents with 582.  Last year the record was set at 570 and as more people roll in to campout tonight that record will be pushed even higher. Only at Kentucky. -Speaking of Big Blue Madness and the campout tomorrow is the day tickets finally go on sale. Tickets will be made available at 7:00 am sharp on ticketmaster and they usually go pretty quick. So get those alarms set if you're not willing to go brave the September Lexington night. If anything you will be able to get an early start on the day's tailgating. -With practice just 21 days away Coach Cal has been hitting the recruiting trail hard. The focus of the past couple of days has been firmly on 2014. Yesterday Coach was in Indiana to check out Trey Lyles and today he continued north to Minnesota where he took in the game of Rashad Vaughn. Vaughn is the second ranked shooting guard in the class according to scout.com. -And if only to prove he is the busiest man in the United States Cal made his way back to Lexington to address the fine folk of tent city. Of course he wanted to find the identity of the 8-year old that nearly derailed our season by undercutting Nerlens. As you can see in the photo above Cal took some time to sign autographs for the fans and to just address the fanbase much like he has every year. -The Cats kickoff the SEC season tomorrow at 12:21 p.m. on the road in Gainesville. The Gators are favored by 23 points which is probably pretty fair considering that UF has won 200-36 over the past four meetings. This year Florida has looked vulnerable but have found a way to win in all three of their games including on the road at A&M and Tennessee. Hopefully though they are looking ahead to LSU and we can put an end to another streak at 25 games. I wouldn't hold my breath.   -The excitement gets underway tomorrow at 9:30 with the KSR pre-game show on 98.1 the Bull and on 630 WLAP. If you aren't in the Lexington area both stations are available on Iheartradio and we will have a link on the site first thing in the morning. It'll be a great way to pass the time as you take down your tent at tent city. Hopefully the guy with the yellow tent has a lot less trouble taking it down than he did getting it up.
