<em>Bloodline</em>'s Friday Morning Wakeup

One of my favorite television series returns today for its second season and I'm pretty pumped about it. Bloodline, Netflix's dramatic thriller, is back today to pick up where it left off with the Rayburn family down in the Florida Keys. The last five or six episodes of Season 1 were some of the best TV I've seen, so I'm looking forward to seeing if it will jump right back into that same suspense that had me pacing around my bedroom. For those who haven't seen the series, I highly recommend catching up. But like I tell everyone new to the show: be patient with the first few episodes. There is a lot of character building and it starts very slow. I started the series two or three times and quit before getting hooked and binge watching the tail-end of it in one night. Bloodline, check it out.   Atlanta's Nike EYBL event begins tomorrow. Session Four of the Nike EYBL circuit starts tomorrow morning down in Atlanta. Most of Kentucky's targets in the 2017 class are EYBL participants, so expect plenty of recruiting updates throughout the weekend. However, it won't be as exciting as most recruiting events because coaches will not be in attendance. That means there will be no Calipari-Watch, which is why I canceled my plans to make the trip down to ATL. Quiet periods aren't as fun as following the coaches around. He ranked Kentucky at No. 5 behind Duke, Villanova, Kansas and Xavier. With all due respect to Xavier, and Jon, Kentucky will be the much better team. Villanova and Kansas are debatable. Also from the CBSSports.com college basketball office: Gary Parrish ranked Kentucky second. DeMarcus Cousins named All-NBA second team. And that's a bunch bullsh**. Boogie fans should've been excited to see his name on the All-NBA second team, but we're not. Not with DeAndre Jordan on the first team. Numbers never lie:

Cousins: 26.9 points,11.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.4 blocks

Jordan: 12.7 poins, 11.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 2.3 blocks

Cousins also had the highest usage percentage in the entire NBA, ahead of Steph Curry, James Harden, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, Damian Lillard, Kevin Durant and, well, everyone in the league. Boogie got hosed. Ho-dor! Ho-dor! Ho-dor! I finally watched last week's Game of Thrones. We've been treated to two of the series' best episodes in consecutive weeks. We apologize for the website issues last night. The boiler room beneath the KSR office that keeps the website moving shut down for a little while last night, and for that, we apologize. I was in Cincinnati for a visitation and was unable to get my hands dirty to get the engine running again.
