The biggest Kentucky football recruiting weekend is going to be even bigger than we anticipated. Mark Stoops is hosting almost a dozen official visitors this weekend, ranging from transfer portal players to committed prospects. Here’s who is on UK’s guest list.

Transfer Portal Prospects

Khris Bogle

A former top 50 recruit from Ft. Lauderdale, Bogle spent his first three years in Gainesville. As a Florida Gator he played in 34 games, tallying 67 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss, and 7.5 sacks. An exceptional SEC athlete, Bogle could quickly fill the vacancy left by All-American Josh Paschal.

Tayvion Robinson

The slot receiver from Virginia Beach earned all-conference honors in each of his two seasons at Virginia Tech, including freshman All-American honors in 2020. He started in 30 of his 36 career games and caught 113 passes for 1,555 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns. Robinson is also a weapon in the return game.

The official visitors from the transfer portal could leave Lexington committed to Kentucky.

Potential Flips

Ja’Kobi Albert

A talented athlete from just outside of Birmingham, he committed to Auburn in August. Kentucky has remained in the hunt as Bryan Harsin enters shaky territory near the end of his first year on The Plains. The Tigers want Albert to play cornerback, but the Wildcats are offering him an opportunity to catch passes in Liam Coen’s offense. It could make a difference when Albert makes a decision on signing day.

Jalen Farmer

The enormous offensive tackle (6-foot-4, 300 pounds) from South Georgia committed to Florida in September. Hiring Billy Napier was considered a long term win, but the short term result is a ton of decommitments. Eric Wolford could make the loss of Aamil Wagner sting less by bringing Farmer to the BBN.

Uncommitted Official Visitors

Deone Walker

The Detroit native has Jordan Davis-like measurables at 6-foot-6, 350 pounds. You can’t coach his size. An absolute difference-maker in the trenches, Wolford secured the coveted last visit for Walker. His other finalists are Georgia and Michigan. Announcing his commitment on signing day, if Walker picks the Cats over two CFB Playoff teams it will be a national news story. Kentucky will try to lock it up this weekend.

Zahquan Frazier

A lengthy junior college cornerback, Frazier could provide immediate assistance in the UK secondary. He will be choosing between the Cats, Mississippi State, Utah and UTSA.

2022 Commits

Keaten & Destin Wade

The two twins from Tennessee came up short in the 6A state championship, but Destin did win Tennessee Mr. Football.

Jackson Smith

Smith will return to Lexington a week after the Boyle County placekicker helped the Rebels win their second straight 4A state championship.

Andre Stewart

Stewart is the only Wildcat commit that participated in Nike’s prestigious national camp, The Opening. A slept-on prospect because of his lower ranking, the Atlanta area defender might end up being the steal of the class on signing day.

UPDATE (1:20): Another One

R. Mason Thomas, a four-star edge ranked in the On300, tells Rivals that he will be taking his talents to Lexington this weekend. Another product of Ft. Lauderdale’s Cardinal Gibbons High School, he committed to Iowa State in July. In addition to the Cats, South Carolina is also trying to flip the Big 12 commit.
