After a long stretch without a commitment, Kentucky ended a drought in the class of 2023 on Monday when three-star wide receiver Ardell Banks committed to the Wildcats to give Vince Marrow another recruiting win in Ohio.

On Wednesday, another commitment could be coming.

Four-star athlete Brandyn Hillman announced his five finalists and commitment date on Tuesday. The Portsmouth (Va.) Churchland senior will be choosing between Kentucky, North Carolina, Notre Dame, USC, and Virginia Tech at 1:00 p.m. ET on hump day.

Defensive coordinator Brad White is the lead recruiter for Hillman issuing an offer to the Mid-Atlantic prospect on Sept. 29. Hillman would make it to Lexington for an official visit during the Vanderbilt game in November. The top-350 prospect has also made it to Notre Dame for an official visit.

The four-star recruit starred as both a quarterback and safety for Churchland. A 6-foot-1 athlete with a long reach flashes good speed on tape as a two-way playmaker. Finding a home in the secondary should not be an issue as Hillman appears to be a strong-looking prospect at safety. On offense, Hillman is a playmaker with the ball in his hands who flashes that good speed with the ability to run through tackles.

Kentucky currently has just three blue-chip recruits in the class of 2023. The Cats could make that four with a recruiting win in Virginia on Wednesday.
