Regardless, this looks like another commitment for Kentucky that has somehow stayed low key in the recruiting rankings. With this staff’s ability to evaluate prospects, this could be another big time player in the future.

Good feet and a nice motor, added weight with improvement of technique and Ulinski can be a major bright spot on the offensive line. Needs to work on strength and pass blocking, especially his first punch with rushing defensive ends off the edge.

This is my favorite commitment so far, as E.J. has the ability to step in as a freshman and contribute right away. With the departure of Keenan Burton and Stevie Johnson to graduation, Fields is a prime target to insert in the lineup and cut loose to cause fireworks with his excellent playmaking ability.

Bio: Another dynamic athlete, Cobb handles the quarterback duties for his Alcoa High School squad in Tennessee. This is a huge pickup as UK was in early on Randall before many of the other schools were, including the University of Tennessee, Which recently sent out an official offer. Most likely another receiver candidate that has quick and precise cutting ability which will ultimately lead to excellent route running. It is always good when you have a former quarterback playing receiver, as they can feel what the QB is thinking and react on the go to their decision making.

A quick motor and the ability to keep his pad level low to get depth in the backfield quickly, Donte could have a big future in blue and white.

A speedster with the knack of knocking your head off, Winston Guy possesses all the traits that any coach would want in his defensive backfield.

That is until Cartier Rice decided to give his verbal pledge to the Cats in what will hopefully open up a new pipeline in recruiting. Somewhat of a sleeper prospect with good hips and a knack for getting his hands on the ball. Needs to improve his speed a little and add some muscle to his frame. Most likely a red shirt in 2008.

Could also possibly be a guard with his quick feet and his ability to get down hill quick in trap plays.

Jimmy Heggins did a masterful job of stealing Stackhouse away from none other than the Miami-Fl, as at 6'4 245 Stackhouse is the idea size for a hybrid tight end. Decent speed and very good hands, could see early playing time, although I predict a red shirt.

Bio: Considered a soft verbal to Kentucky, Woods was the first commitment to the Cats of the 2008 class and has good size although he lacks in strength with only a 285 pound bench press. No doubt a red shirt prospect, however Woods has good feet and a hard work ethic.

Bio: Standing at 6'4 280 with a 400 pound bench press, Burden could be one of the sleepers of the class when all is said and done. UK will look to start Burden off at the tackle position, but I myself see him fitting best in at guard with the strength he possesses at such a young age. If the Cats can beef him up to 300+ he has the ability to be a power blocking guard on the inside. A name to watch four years from now, as you could possibly say several schools missed on their evaluation of this under the radar prospect.

Not the fastest prospect out there, but outstanding route running and efficient hands make this commitment another possible great pickup. Excellent football knowledge and desire to compete and win on every play.
