Screen Shot 2016-08-09 at 6.31.12 PM We don't get to see much from practice, but today the UK football staff was kind enough to put together an impressive highlight package from today's performance.  For those who have missed the sound of pads popping, this one's for you.

The Best of the Best

Jon Toth Killed a Guy Early in the footage, he pulled around the end to give Eli Brown a solid pop, but that was just the preliminary round.  In a heads-up matchup, Toth absolutely buried a true freshman (either Ja'Quize Cross or Kevin Kirby).  Here's to hoping Toth whispered in his ear while he laid on the ground, "Welcome to the SEC." Denzil Ware is a Leader on Defense  After dominating the line of scrimmage in the Blue/White game, we knew Ware would play an important role for the defense, but Ware isn't an animated personality.  One of the more quiet players to ever come through the program, it's encouraging to see Ware transform into a vocal leader, injecting excitement into his unit. Dorian Baker Only Needs One Hand For all of the people screaming, "I JUST WANT TO SEE SIX WINS!" shut up for a second and enjoy Baker's beautiful catch in the back-corner of the end zone.  He's always had a flare for the spectacular, it's the routine ones that have been a problem.  For now, I'm going to enjoy the spectacular.
