As I'm sure you've read by now, the Cats have been invited to the White House Friday afternoon to celebrate their National Championship. In years past, National Champions have been given a tour of the White House, along with a ceremony in the Rose Garden. Typically, the winning coach will present the President with a gift (in 2010, Coach K gave Obama a framed copy of the winning bracket), and the President will say a few kind words about the squad in return. Now, we all know this team is special, and try as they might to be serious, surely the ceremony won't go by without one comical moment. So, let's break down the odds on what will happen, from the most predictable to the least expected. Brian Long finally buying a pair of dress pants for the occasion: Even. He better. Calipari presenting President Obama with his second Kentucky jersey (he gave him one back in 2009): Even, it's tradition President Obama cracking a joke about picking North Carolina to win in his own bracket: 3-1 WBA filming part of the festivities: 8-1 Obama throwing up three goggles: 50-1 Jarrod Polson throwing up three goggles: 10-1 Joe Biden throwing up three goggles: 6-1 Sasha or Malia blushing when they meet Michael Kidd-Gilchrist: 5-1 Michelle Obama challenging MKG to a push-up contest: 50-1 A White House intern accidentally picking up Terrence Jones' phone: 75-1 Some kind of reference to Anthony Davis' unibrow: 20-1 DeMarcus Cousins making a surprise appearance to introduce the team to the President ("Hello Mr. President, these are the National Champions"): 45-1 John Wall making a surprise appearance: 25-1 Doron Lamb looking sleepy in the picture: 3-1 Number of times a player has to duck their head to go through a door on the tour: 39 Number of tweets from UK players/staff about the trip: 53 Player most likely to pull a "Forrest Gump" (aka drink too much free soda and excuse yourself to go use the restroom at an inopportune moment): Kyle Wiltjer This post turning into a political bloodbath in the comments section: Even (in fact, the best bet you'll make all day) Your turn.
