Wake Forest and the world's fastest basketball player (as named by Jeff Goodman), Ishmael Smith, came from behind in overtime and knocked off Texas to advance and take on your beloved Wildcats Saturday. The Demon Deacons will bring former Clyde commit Konner Tucker's other ex-teammates (can we count him as an ex-Cat?) and a 20-10 record to their showdown with UK in New Orleans. They have one common opponent, North Carolina, who Wake went 1-1 against.
