Bryan the Intern's Picks to Click

I guaranteed a win over the Gators yesterday if the Cats defended the 3 better and cut down on turnovers.  Well, they still gave it away 19 times, but Florida only went 4-14 from the 3-point line.  So I consider myself a half-genius today.  Which I guess also makes me a half-idiot.  I'll let you decide which one you would rather call me.  (And yes, I get that I didn't exactly break any code as to what the Cats needed to do better, ITS CALLED A JOKE.) 1. The moving on/pushing out of Jeff Brohm at UL has certainly caused quite an uproar in the city of Louisville.  Talk shows are buzzing about the departure, and it's safe to say that fan approval of Steve Kragthorpe is less than 10-percent.  But a greater point was written about by the Courier-Journal's Eric Crawford.  And that is that it seems that the list of people who have paid a price by being critical of the UL program is growing quite large.  Can you imagine if Mitch Barnhart held the same grudges towards everyone that is critical of his program as Tom Jurich is of his?  In a previous life, I was strongly critical of Barnhart's decision to move the football game, but I can say with 100% certainty that I am happy he is the AD and not Jurich at UK. 2. I love this website called the Bracket Matrix, which takes every single bracket projection it can find, combines them all, and comes up with its own bracket.  It takes out all personal opinions and goes strictly on numbers.  In the most recent one, released on Monday, UK is hanging in there as an 11 seed.  UK was put in the tournament of 37 of the 52 projections used. 3. I am with FGM that I think Billy Gillispie is just flirting with Jeannine Edwards at this point.  He always is giving her that grin, but he's playing hard to get.  I say just man up Billy, and ask her out to a Lexington hot spot, and then back to your mansion for a little Scrabble.  Oh yeah, here is where it all begun.
