BTI's Rants and Ramblings: Jorts looks happy, but are you happy with him?

by:Bryan1311/24/10
When Jorts isn't in the pool dominating little kids with his chest hair, or on the court eating up double digit rebounds, he is spending his time on the Maui beaches, taking pictures with pretty ladies.  Now, while I would never consider his life better than a life as an unpaid blogger in Louisville, you have to admit that life is semi-OK for Jorts right now.  Now, one more game of 15 rebounds against UCONN, and he may never leave the islands.  I think with Harrleson, you have to accept the good with the bad.  Nobody is going to claim that he is some great offensive threat, but if he can at least keep the defense honest with his outside jumpshot, it would open the lane so much more for the guards.  Think Patrick Patterson from last year.  Besides that, just hit the small number of layups he is given, and we will be good. On the defensive end, Jorts has been good on the glass, but his help defense has left some things to be desired.  He has to at least attempt to block shots, or at least knock some of the opposing teams guards to the floor if he has poor position.  They give you 5 fouls for a reason.  There have been too many sight-seeing possessions on the defensive end for Jorts.  But this is something that can be improved. So, while we all can envy the life of Jorts, what about his play on the court this season?  Are you happy with him as the 5 this season?
