Good news for one former Wildcat in the NFL as Bud Dupree is expected to return to practice this week for the Steelers. “We’ll start the process with Bud Dupree this week in terms of practicing,” Mike Tomlin said in his weekly news conference. “He has been working a lot on the perimeter, and we’ll start the process with him this week." The return will start the 21-day clock on Dupree, who has been on the injured list since the beginning of the season with a groin injury. Once the 21 days are up after his first practice, Tomlin will have to make a decision to either add Dupree back to the 53-man roster or sit him for the remainder of the season. Tomlin said he anticipates Dupree to come back and be a major component for the Black and Gold defense this season.
