marcus-lee John Calipari's offseason presser is underway, and to start, Cal went through the list of players who are still deciding whether or not to stay in the NBA Draft. Cal said Marcus Lee worked out for a few teams before this week's combine, and he expects him to stay in the Draft. "Marcus is a little different. Marcus really wants to do this. My guess is he'll keep his name in the Draft because he just really -- this is what he wants to do. I just told him to go up there and do your thing and show them the athletic player that you are." Meanwhile, Cal said that the feedback Isaiah Briscoe's gotten has been all about his shooting, but he isn't sure whether or not Briscoe will return to school. Interestingly, Cal also said Alex Poythress' knee still isn't fully recovered. "Alex is -- it's funny, his agent called and said, 'Coach, his leg is not fully healed as far as it's as strong as the other knee. We're going to do that. We're not going to let him go to the Combine, so one way or another he will not go to the Combine and we're not going to let him work out for teams until we know he's 100%.' I was really happy to hear that they're on top of it and this is about putting him in the best position he can be in. There are a lot of teams that like Alex, but he's got to go in healthy and show that athleticism and stuff and he'll be fine." More coming soon...
