Add another trophy to Coach Cal's crowded trophy case.
Today he was
named Adolph Rupp Coach of the Year by the Commonwealth Athletic Club of Kentucky. It is the second time Calipari has won the award, the first being in 2010, another season that ended in heartbreak. (And a Duke title.)
Cal was also named Naismith, Sporting News, Associated Press and the National Association of Basketball Coaches' National Coach of the Year for the 2014-15 season.
He will accept the award in a ceremony on UK's campus. The date is TBD.
