ulis-spurs Yesterday, a report came out that the San Antonio Spurs are taking a hard look at Tyler Ulis with the 29th pick in Thursday's Draft. While it would be a little disappointing to see Tyler still on the board at #29, going to the Spurs could be the best scenario possible for him. On today's teleconference, John Calipari agreed, telling reporters he'll do a back flip if Tyler goes to the Spurs. "If he could ever play for the Spurs and that organization, I would do a back flip on Draft night," Calipari vowed. "And the reason is, you're around true professionals that are teammates that understand what do we all have to do to win and how does winning supersede everything else. It's amazing what gets done when no one cares who gets the credit. That saying has the Spurs logo beside it." "I would probably say, 'Tyler, to go later in the Draft would be better, and show up in San Antonio,' he'd probably say, 'Coach, I don't want to risk it, I want to go earlier,' but I think he'd be ecstatic there, I think he'd be a great fit." We're not forgetting about that back flip, Coach. Start stretching now.
