Carolina is Coming

There is a buzz in the air. You can feel it. Big games like this are what make life fun for a college basketball fan, and it doesn't get any better than Kentucky vs. North Carolina. I know there are a lot of East Coast writers and knuckleheads that always try to push the Duke v UNC rivalry as the best in college basketball, but what do they know? I'll get their opinion on things when baseball starts. When it comes to good basketball, most of those guys wouldn't know a real rivalry if John Wall no-looked it into the back of their head. A bunch of shirtless, Zima-laden preppies jumping up and down makes Duke a better opponent? Nah. Give me the real tradition of two historic powerhouses getting into a slobber knocker once a year.
