Rupp Arena was rocking today, but the play wasnt quite as special as the
Cats fell to the Heels, 86-77. After the game Billy Clyde praised the UK effort, calling it the best of the season and saying that he was "proud of his guys." The UK players were upbeat, all of whom believed they competed well and were in the game throughout. On the court, the Cats got strong performances from Patrick Patterson and Joe Crawford and a good point production from Ramel Bradley. However the rest of the team gave them little else and ultimately the Cats fell to the Heels' higher talent level. We have lots of post-game quotes and observations which will be up late tonight, but for now, a difficult loss, but one that helps signal that the Cats' day is coming.
