Cats at the Combine
Jon Toth
The knock on Toth was that he is not an elite athlete. This was on display with his 5.51 40-time and 25.5-inch vertical jump. He also recorded 21 bench press repetitions of 225-pounds. Field drills and interviews were where Toth impressed. 48 consecutive starts, a plethora of game film vs. elite defenders, the highest offensive grade for his team at the Senior Bowl, and possessing all coveted intangibles were considered to be his strengths going into Indianapolis. Summary: Draft stock was neither raised or lowered by Combine performance. But, he’ll need to show improvements on Pro Day. Williams started off with a bang with 18 bench press reps but coaches and scouts alike were mostly anticipating his 40-yard sprint performance. His first time was a 4.51, second was much better as he ran a 4.44.Boom runs a 4.44 on his 2nd attempt pic.twitter.com/eyTn8Ijx8I
