Cats Can't Catch A Break, Lose 68-70 In Florida

Writing these post game loss summaries is getting redundant.  As with most games this year, the Cats have played tough but not to their potential on the road.  Some big plays came from big players – namely Brandon Knight who finished with 24 points and 4-5 from the three.  But it wouldn’t be enough, as silly shots, silly calls and poor interior defense continued to go against Kentucky.  That isn’t to say they couldn’t have done more to win – like, you know, call a time out on the last possession.  But real talk, there’s not much to be ashamed of in losing to a ranked team by two on the road. Still, while this team has the potential and the talent to be great – right now they don’t have the execution.  Hopefully they will get it figured out soon, because the same old script is getting tired.

Stick around as Beisner brings you more from Gainesville and Matt brings you more from Louisville.
