What can you really say? Just a really bad performance from the Cats. Doron Lamb played pretty good, but nobody else can you say that about. And the thing I have noticed most is when Brandon Knight does not control the game, the Cats look very average. And today, Knight played decent, but did not CONTROL the game. You don't have to control the game with points, but the offense just did not run smoothly, and the defense was worse. Terrenece Jones scored 24 points, but 12 of those came in the closing minutes when the game was not in doubt. Plus, he took what may have been the worst 3-point shot in UK history.
But, the game still only counts for 1, and I feel quite strong Cats will get their revenge in Lexington in a few weeks. We will have more on this game later, and a link to Matt's call-in show, but for tonight, just have a drink and find something fun to do. Because there was nothing fun in the world of UK sports today.
