Cats drop four spots in latest polls

by:Thomas Beisner02/14/11
After splitting games with Tennessee and Vanderbilt last week, Kentucky dropped four spots in both the AP and ESPN/USA Today polls to end up at #22.  They're the nation's highest ranked seven-loss team (high fives anyone?), but the third-highest in the SEC (Florida and Vandy both better).  This, of course, is bad news for Mississippi State and South Carolina, who now have the daunting task of playing a program that is 9-1 when playing games when ranked 22nd. See, there's always a silver lining. And since we haven't mentioned Mumford and Sons in the last hour, here's the performance last night, bootlegged and posted on YouTube just as they would have wanted.
