Cats in the NFL: Week 11 Preview

by:Brent Wainscott11/22/20
Happy NFL Sunday to all the members of the BBN! Before starting this post I want to send my condolences to anyone in ESPN fantasy football leagues facing Taysom Hill at Tight End this week. I feel your pain, here's to hoping it crashes and burns. Secondly, I want to note we don't have Corey Peters on this week's graphic because the Cardinals played on Thursday and Peters was out with an injury. Danny Trevathan and the Bears are also on a bye. Let's get into it. Not a whole lot of games to break down this week; it's a pretty run of the mill week. I say it every Sunday, but if you want to see Cats make a significant impact turn your TVs to the Steelers and Jags at 1:00. Bud Dupree has been a monster, Benny Snell is a useful RB2 and he's quietly been a special teams star this season, then of course Avery Williamson is a tackle machine. They will be matched up against Josh Allen and a Jacksonville team that is trying to catch Pittsburgh in a trap. After the one o'clock window, Za'Darius Smith and Mike Edwards will feature in two of the biggest games of the week. The Packers will face off against a quietly good Colts team that is trying to solidify themselves as a playoff team, while the Packers need a win to claim that they are the best team in the NFC. That run defense for Green Bay will have to step up against an outstanding Colts offensive line with two solid backs in Nyheem Hines and Jonathan Taylor. Pencil that into your schedule in the four o'clock window. On Monday night, it will be two NFC juggernauts in 2020 between the Rams and the Bucs. A victory for either of these teams would go a very long way for playoff seeding.
