The Cats dropped a tough one in Gainesville 69-52, but the game was of no consequence once Nerlens Noel went down with a knee injuryin the second half. Nerlens hurt his knee running into the goalpost and was down for several minutes on the court in pain. The team carried him off the court in one of the more touching moments I've ever seen in the game. As far the game goes, it was bad. After a good start, the Cats lost all rhythm when Noel had to head to the bench with foul trouble midway through the first half. From there, it was all Florida. The Cats' guard play was incredibly frustrating, as was their inability to achieve any kind of flow on offense, but none of it mattered when Nerlens went down. In the immediate postgame interview, Billy Donovan said that the Kentucky staff told him Nerlens would be okay. We'll keep you updated as the night goes on. For now, thoughts out to the big fella.
