Charles Matthews considering Xavier and Michigan
Two schools are reportedly in the mix for Charles Matthews, the former Wildcat who decided to try out another program for his college basketball future. According to ESPN’s Jeff Goodman, Matthews is considering Xavier and Michigan as two of his possible destinations for his next three years of eligibility.
Marquette, Kansas, Illinois and Michigan State were finalists when Matthews originally committed to the Wildcats in 2014. I have not seen or heard any mention of those schools this time around in his second recruitment.
Wherever Matthews goes, someone is getting a good player with a ton of potential. It shouldn’t surprise anyone if he becomes a star before his college career is over.
