chris-berman-walk-of-fame ESPN original, Chris Berman, will call it quits after the end of the 2016 NFL season according to The Big Lead.  TBL reports that his replacement will either be Trey Wingo or Suzy Kolber. His retirement might be coming just a little too late.  Boomer has worked for the Worldwide Leader since 1979, hired just a month after its inception.  He was the best of the best in the Two-Minute Drill.  Rumblin' bumblin' stumblin' through highlights with Tom Jackson was a Sunday night staple of my childhood.  However, in recent years he's lost a step or two. Exhibit A: Chris-Berman-hair Exhibit B: With hot mics, Berman and John Kruk debate if they should stand up during a "Stand up to Cancer" tribute during the Home Run Derby. Exhibit C: is a tirade that's too NSFW for KSR, and that's saying something. It was a good run Boomer.  Get your WHOOPs out while you can. [The Big Lead]
