Last week, country music legend and Glen Campbell passed away after a hard-fought battle with Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 81.

Campbell, a Kentucky athletics fan and friend of former football coach Fran Curci, was famous for songs such as Galveston, Rhinestone Cowboy, Gentle on My Mind, and Southern Nights, among countless others.

In a concert last Thursday, Grammy award-winning artist and Kentuckian Chris Stapleton covered the famous Campbell song “Rhinestone Cowboy” in tribute to the late music star.
