Remember when Chris Walker was a five-star power forward sitting, hoping, waiting, wishing for an offer from John Calipari? Better yet, remember when he dominated the 2013 McDonald's All-American Dunk Contest and all of us were wondering why in the world Cal didn't offer him?
Walker ended up at Florida, and two years later, it looks like his days as a Gator may be over.
According to Evan Daniels, Walker is not expected back at Florida next season, a sad turn in a sad career so far. Walker was ruled ineligible for the first half of his freshmen year and never really recovered, averaging only 4.7 points and 3.5 rebounds last season. He was also suspended for the first few games of the season for a violation of team rules.
