private-jet Coach Calipari is dedicating the first Monday of October to the class of 2018. Cal started his day by visiting 2018's top shooting guard prospect, Romeo Langford of New Albany.  He briefly pressed pause to attend today's tipoff luncheon in Louisville before getting back on the recruiting trail.  According to Adam Zagoria, Calipari is in Maryland to see 2018's No. 3 point guard prospect, Immanuel Quickley. A lengthy (6'3") speedster, Quickley fits the mold for Calipari point guards.  What makes Quickley different from other Calipari point guards is his shooting ability from long range (but his 3-point celebration in the highlights below will look familiar). Kansas, Duke, Maryland and many more are also pursuing the point guard. https://youtu.be/BgNfkDRj7f8?t=7s

UPDATE

John Calipari extended a scholarship offer on the visit.  He'll have a little more than a week to enjoy it before Quickley takes a trip to Lexington for Big Blue Madness.  So far he seems pretty happy. screen-shot-2016-10-03-at-7-07-50-pm
