Got a kid (or are you a big kid yourself)? Love basketball and Kentucky? Well Coach Calipari has just the thing for you. Today,
CoachCal.com announced the 2012 John Calipari Pro Camps, aptly titled because not only does Calipari churn out pros, but he brings them back to teach younger kids.
Here are the dates and fees:
Pro Camp I - August 1-2 (Tuition-$199)
Morning Session (8:30am-Noon) - Open to grades K-5th-Check in from 7:00-8:30am
Afternoon Session (1:30pm-5:00pm)- Open to grades 6th-12th-Check in from Noon-1:30pm
Pro Camp II - August 3-4 (Tuition-$199)
Morning Session (8:30am-Noon) - Open to grades K-5th-Check in from 7:00-8:30am
Afternoon Session (1:30pm-5:00pm)- Open to grades 6th-12th-Check in from Noon-1:30pm
Both Pro Camps I & II (Discounted Tuition-$350)
These camps seem like a great idea and way the departing national champions to connect with the fans before they head off to their professional careers. Along with some b-ball schooling, you'll get some swag - with each fee comes a camp t-shirt, two days of instruction, competitions, autograph session, and camp team photo with featured Wildcat Pro’s from the 2012 National Championship team. These shindigs will take place in the Joe Craft Center and Memorial Coliseum.

I'm
interested to see which former Cat pros are featured this year. Last year, Tayshaun hosted all three days of the Pro Camp. Coach Cal makes sure to note that each session will have different pros, so it seems like a lot of stars will be back in town.
