Collin Chandler teams up with John Wall to repeat as Big Blue Madness Slam Dunk Champion

We interrupt your evening to let you know Collin Chandler has, in fact, done it again. After stealing the show in Mark Pope’s first Big Blue Madness as the slam dunk champion, the sophomore guard defended his title in the best way possible — and got some help, also in the best way possible.
You know John Wall is back in town, but did you know he’s tossing assists to current Wildcats, too? That’s right, Wall teamed up with Chandler for the win, throwing up the lob for the returning champion to punch in from just inside the free-throw line. He got the full-court head start and finished it to perfection.

The best part? They shared a John Wall Dance to celebrate back-to-back BBM Slam Dunk Contest titles.
Great idea, better execution for Collin Chandler and John Wall.
The only question is whether or not this year’s dunk topped last year’s title finish. That one also featured some big-time nostalgia, Chandler rocking Mark Pope’s old No. 41 Kentucky jersey and jumped over both Mark and Lee Anne Pope on the fancy ASB GlassFloor.
That was also a perfect 50 score from the judges.
What do you say, BBN? Year one or year two for Collin Chandler?
I’m going year two with none other than John Wall leading the way.
