I just talked to Matt, who confirmed through a source that
Twany Beckham is joining UK as a walk-on this week , though the role could eventually earn him a scholarship down the road. He will be eligible to play next December. Beckham is a former Ballard High School star and averaged 2.9 points per game for Mississippi State this year as a sophomore before deciding to transfer. He sat out all of last season after surgery on both hips.
Twany had this to say to Evan Daniels this morning:
"I'm a Wildcat. This is the happiest day of my life."
