1153373 Rupp Arena's going to get quite the workout this week. In addition to Saturday's Senior Day festivities and the Florida game, the Boy's Sweet 16 starts, with the first round taking place on Wednesday and Thursday, the semifinals Saturday night, and the finals on Sunday. One player Cats fans should keep an eye on is Dominique Hawkins, the Madison Central point guard who has received some interest from the UK staff in the past few weeks. Hawkins, one of the finalists for Kentucky's Mr. Basketball award, and Madison Central play Wayne County at noon tomorrow. Something tells me you'll see a familiar face from the UK staff in the stands. There's been some scuttle around the program that Hawkins could be a late addition to the 2013 class, most likely as a preferred walk-on. Hawkins, who is also the cousin of Marquis Estill, a current undergraduate student assistant coach at UK, would provide some additional back-up at point guard and be the four-year player we've learned this program benefits from. Having a veteran point guard that knows Cal's system will be vital in helping each year's incoming superstars learn the system and help steady the ship if things get rocky. Plus, he's a Kentucky boy. Hawkins has already been offered a preferred walk-on spot at Louisville, along with interest from Western Kentucky, Morehead State, Tennessee, Purdue, Alabama, Tennessee Tech and Murray State. Watch him work:
