Could Next Recruiting Year Be Cal's Most Important?

by:Bobby Reagan07/07/16
cal Obviously everyone has their eyes on the Peach Jam as the live period has officially kicked off. On top of that everyone is wondering who will be in Kentucky's next great recruiting class. What I'm most curious about is if Cal will look to do something different with his recruiting style if it's true the Class of 2018 is as weak as it's made out to be. Evan Daniels talked about the Class of 2018 on SI.com, calling it the weakest in recent memory.  Obviously a lot can change in the next year, but if projections are correct it will make next year even more important for Calipari. There's no doubt he'll still get the top guys in the country and the one-and-dones, but will we see a couple more guys like Tyler Ulis or Willie Cauley-Stein? Guys who were expected to stay for at least two seasons, that can help out the class of 2018? This is all speculation, but with the live period in full swing, it's something to keep an eye on.
