CWS at night   This weekend Kentucky Football recruiting will take a GIANT step forward with prolific talent from across the nation descending upon Commonwealth Stadium. The Saturday night camp under the lights in Commonwealth Stadium will showcase the new-look program to over 200 recruits. From the smallest schools throughout Kentucky, to some of the nation's best players like Denzel Ware, the coaching staff will put on a spectacular for all of those in Lexington for the weekend. The weekend has been hyped throughout Twitter, with many highly-ranked players making their first visits of the summer, giving UK a "first first-impression" advantage.   What Will They Do? The weekend will most likely start like any other visit, except this one has about 20x more visitors than usual. With what I like to call UK's "Hot Girl Disguise" on, the recruits will tour the entirety of campus, getting to explore the football facilities, while being sold on the new-feel of the program through special presentations highlighting recent success. After spending the day schmoozing, the lights will illuminate the field at Commonwealth Stadium. For most, it will be the first time recruits get to actually work side-by-side with the coaching staff. The coaching staff has accrued the #12 recruiting class in the nation primarily by just talking and visiting the kids; if the relationships haven't been established yet, one-on-one work on C.M. Newton Field should help. From here the camp gets very competitive, with players attempting to post their best times in a variety of NFL Combine drills. After completing the "basics", the group will break out into specific position drills with their position coach, providing valuable one-on-one time as each player attempts to prove that they are the best (insert position here) at camp. With campers' families in attendance, the relationships built with the coaches over the weekend, along with the organization and intensity of the event will be the best way to sell parents that their kid should "Come Be A Hero".   Who Is Coming? mikel horton Mikel Horton Kentucky's power-running back commit from the Class of 2014 was the first to inform #BBN about this weekends recruiting extravaganza. Even though he didn't quite call it an extravaganza, the 4-star back is excited to be in Lexington with many of his fellow Class of 2014-ers. Horton's new kicks couldn't have come at a better time, with his performance this weekend marking the first time he will get to work with Coach Chad Scott. BOOM Boom Williams With a name like Boom, the speedy RB is an obvious playmaker. As a Junior in North Carolina, Boom put up 1,948 yards and 24 TDs (not too shabby). It’s easy to point out speed at the running back position (especially when they run a 4.39 40 yard dash like Williams), but acceleration is the difference from being tackled 5 yards down the field, or busting it open for a 40 yard gain. Little Boom will get to test those fast feet on CWS turf for the first time Saturday. denzel ware Denzel Ware 4-star Defensive End Denzel Ware has had one hell of a recruitment. Originally committed to Florida State, he became Mark Stoops' first commit in the Class of 2014 until decommitting 2 months later. Even though he dropped the Cats, he still maintains close contact with the coaches, simply seeking to take his recruiting process "much slower". He has flirted with Kentucky often, but this will be the first time he makes the trip to Lexington, making this the most important weekend during Kentucky's recruitment of Ware. tavise stoudemire Tavise Stoudemire Tavise Stoudemire isn't someone you will find with high ratings on all of the recruiting sites. The 6' 220 lb run-stuffing linebacker is considered highly underrated by most. Stoudemire will be traveling with his cousin (basically brothers) Denzel Ware from Alabama. Stoudemire told Justin Rowland after Ware's initial commitment that he was, "ready to pull the trigger" for Kentucky. Essentially a package deal with Ware, selling the program to Stoudemire will be just as important, despite his lack of attention from recruiting websites. nacarius fant  Nacarius Fant Bowling Green's Fant is one of many Kentucky kids that will be making the trip to Lexington this weekend. A consensus Top-10 player in the state, the WR is looking for a school where he can see the field immediately. After the departure of Bookie and Sweat earlier today, Fant has an opportune moment to shine during Saturday's Showcase.     -Those are just 4 of the 200+ visiting this weekend, Sorry I don't have time for 196 more. @RoushKSR
