Lots of the UK-related NBA draft talk is about whether or not Los Angeles should take De'Aaron Fox over Lonzo Ball with the second pick, but let's not forget Malik Monk is in the conversation for the third overall pick.
Today,
CSN Philly made the case for Philadelphia taking Monk with its third pick in the draft. The website wrote, "Hindsight will always be 20/20 when looking at this draft class down the line, but the choice is clear now if the Sixers vision includes adding a shooter... Draft Malik Monk."
The write-up also says Philly needs "a knock-down, assassin-type shooter," and no one on the board fits that description better than the former Kentucky shooting guard. He's the only option to fill that need, as we all know well.

And then hope we hear Monk's name called third overall in the draft in a little over three weeks from today.
