Danny Trevathan makes heroic play in Denver win

by:Ally Tucker10/06/13
Randall Cobb's dazzling catch earlier today for the Kentucky Wildcats Green Bay Packers wasn't the only big moment for a former Wildcat in the NFL. Danny Trevathan had a highlight reel play of his own, and it was one of the biggest plays of the day. Trevathan and Wesley Woodyard, a former Kentucky tandem, have been very successful for this year's Bronco defensive unit. The Broncos were all even with the Cowboys with time winding down. Tony Romo had picked apart the Denver defense for most of the day. And then Danny Trevathan happened. With just under 2 minutes left in the game, Trevathan dropped back and intercepted Tony Romo's pass. The Broncos were then able to run the clock down, allowing kicker Matt Prather to win the game with a field goal to keep the Broncos undefeated.
