DeMarcus Cousins shares "resurgence" recovery picture
After rupturing his Achilles almost a week ago, DeMarcus Cousins underwent successful surgery yesterday in Los Angeles. This afternoon, Boogie posted a recovery pic assuring fans the “resurgence” has begun:

The Pelicans released a statement saying the surgery was performed by Dr. Richard Ferkel of the Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Los Angeles, California.
“DeMarcus’ surgery went very well,” Ferkel said in a statement. “I expect he will have a full recovery and be able to return to basketball after an intensive rehabilitation program.”
The Pelicans have not released a timeline for Boogie’s return to the basketball court, but ESPN.com’s Adrian Wojnarowski estimates that it could take anywhere from six to ten months. Yesterday, Boogie broke the silence, thanking fans for their support:
