Derek Willis throws down oops in Germany
Derek Willis was always more athletic than his play led on at UK and it was clear he was going to find a home playing professionally, whether it was overseas or as a shooter off the bench in the NBA. He’s been playing for BG Göttingen in Germany since signing a deal with them back in July of 2018.
A few highlights 0f Willis’ athleticism hit the Twitter-sphere this afternoon, as he finished with 13 points on 5 of 5 shooting from the field.

Awesome for Derek that he’s continuing to succeed in his basketball career overseas. He had his ups and downs with the Big Blue Nation but with him being from the Commonwealth, he was always a fan-favorite for me.
