In fact, they're both in the top 10. Up first (counting down), The Big Lead ranked Kevin Knox as the eighth best player entering the 2017-18 season:
8. Kevin Knox, Freshman F, Kentucky: A 6-foot-9, 205 pound wing who can play shooting guard, but likely will play all over for the Wildcats.
In case you missed it, Sports Illustrated named Knox one of its top incoming freshmen, earlier this week. Then, five spots ahead of Knox in The Big Lead's rankings, Hamidou Diallo earned the No. 3 spot. Only Michigan State's Miles Bridges and Missouri freshman Michael Porter Jr. were ranked ahead of him. Porter Jr. is the No. 1 overall player.
3. Hamidou Diallo, Freshman G, Kentucky: Dabbled with the idea of going to the NBA, but didn’t get a high enough guarantee in the draft to enter, so the explosive guard will have to settle for highlight reel dunks in Lexington for a year.
Arizona was the only other school to have two players in The Big Lead's top 10 with DeAndre Ayton and Alonzo Trier at fourth and fifth. http://thebiglead.com/2017/08/01/50-best-players-in-college-basketball-for-2017-2018/2/ Go Cats.
