DO NOT mention UK's win streak against Mizzou to Mark Stoops

Now that losing streaks are a thing of the past, let's talk about win streaks! Kentucky has one over its next opponent, Missouri, having won five straight games over the Tigers from 2015-2019, the only five wins in the series since Mizzou joined the SEC back in 2012. Savor that statistic for a moment and then lock it away in a box and set that box on fire because Mark Stoops is not here to talk about win streaks. A question around UK's current five-game win streak (last time, I promise!) came up in Monday's press conference, to which Mark Stoops replied, "See, there's a perfect example. It means absolutely nothing. Right? I mean, truthfully. It means nothing. We have to go win this week. I don't even know what the streak is. "This is a new staff, a new group, and I have no idea what it is because it really means nothing," Stoops said. As for that new coaching staff out in Columbia, Stoops does not know Mizzou head coach Eliah Drinkwitz personally, but had this to say about his opponent: "Obviously a very good coach and seems like a great guy, and when I've been around him I've really enjoyed being around him. With playing him, it will be a real challenge." Don't say streak. Don't do it. It's not a thing. Stop it.
